Jacob deGrom has been absolutely fantastic this year. There's no doubting that as not just anybody can generate a 15.1% swinging-strike rate while limiting batters to a 24.3% hard-hit rate. No wonder deGrom's SIERA is an otherworldly 2.76.

But as good as that 2.76 mark is, it indicates just how fortunate a pitcher is to carry an ERA of 1.55 as deGrom currently does. And in a matchup against the Rockies in Coors Field, there is a strong possibility that deGrom's ERA takes a hit today.

A good way of identifying a potential mispricing, especially for pitchers, is by comparing the pricing to implied team totals. Only four pitchers are more expensive than deGrom on the main slate, but only six teams have a higher implied team total than Colorado Rockies (4.59).
