Jose Ramirez, 3B, Cleveland Indians

Price: $5,000

Jose Ramirez jumped into the ranks of the elite hitters in 2017, when he turned in an excellent .396 wOBA with a .265 isolated slugging (ISO). He has turned up things even more to start 2018, ranking fifth among qualifying hitters with a .414 wOBA and fourth with a .318 ISO.

The switch-hitter has done his best work against right-handed pitching over the last two years, with a .411 wOBA and .300 ISO over 640 plate appearances in the split. That makes tonight's matchup with Chicago White Sox righty Dylan Covey a really easy one to like.

Covey has had a solid start to 2018, with a 3.49 SIERA, though that is over only a six-game sample. He played 18 games in his first MLB season last year, struggling to the tune of a 5.64 SIERA. His strikeout rate is up nearly 10 percentage points from last year's, sitting at 22.2%, but with his swinging-strike rate at only 7.8%, that doesn't look likely to hold up over the long-term.

With Ramirez's huge production against righties, there's plenty of upside in this spot.
