Curtis Granderson, OF, Toronto Blue Jays

Price: $2,500

The Toronto Blue Jays have the second-highest implied total (5.15) on tonight's five-game main slate as they take on the Baltimore Orioles and right-handed pitcher David Hess.

Hess has only made four Major League starts so far, and while his 3.47 ERA is a solid mark, his 5.30 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) tells a very different story. His strikeout rate sits at only 12.6%, he's allowing a 32.5% hard-hit and 49.4% fly-ball rate while only forcing a 13.0% soft-hit rate. And as a result, his xFIP sits at 5.50. He makes for a great fantasy matchup for the Jays' offense.

Curtis Granderson has shown that even at 37 years old he's still a threat against righties. He has tagged them for a 40.5% hard-hit rate this season, which has translated to a .335 wOBA. Those numbers bring his averages to a .341 wOBA and .232 isolated slugging (ISO) on a 36.3% hard-hit rate since the start of 2017, and this matchup with Hess gives him big upside relative to his price tag.
