3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/6/18
Aaron Nola is the most expensive pitcher on the slate, but he draws a tough matchup at Wrigley Field. Which other players should you be avoiding Wednesday night?

Shohei Ohtani, SP, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $8,600

There's no question that what Shohei Ohtani is doing is downright historic. However, there have been some vulnerable spots in his early MLB pitching career. He's allowed multiple walks in five of his past six starts, and he's also allowing batters to post a 38.3% fly-ball rate and 34.6% hard-hit rate against him.

This may all be grasping at straws, as Ohtani's SIERA is still very strong at 3.28. Still, they are important to take note of, especially with him facing off against one of the league's most under-the-radar teams against right-handed pitching: the Kansas City Royals.

At 17.7%, the Royals have the lowest strikeout rate in baseball against right-handers. They are also third in hard-hit rate against right-handed pitching at 39.0%. With the Royals' unlikely reputations as a strong offense, Ohtani will likely go over-owned relative to the difficulty of the matchup. It would be smart to steer clear of him tonight.
