3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 6/4/18
With no expensive pitchers on today's main slate, you can afford to load up on top-end bats. Which ones should be on your radar?

Aaron Judge, OF, New York Yankees

Price: $5,200

The only pitcher priced north of even $8,000 tonight sits as only our third-highest-projected fantasy scorer, and really we have no stud pitching options on the board, so I'll get right to the offense, where you'll have plenty of cap space to work with regardless of which pitcher you play.

With only eight teams in action on the main slate, the New York Yankees' 5.76 implied total is nearly a full run higher than the next-highest mark (4.83), making them an obvious offense to target.

The Detroit Tigers are starting righty Mike Fiers, which helps explain that huge implied total. Fiers has seen his skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) get worse over each of the last three seasons, and he's on pace for a 4.65 SIERA in 2018 -- a clip that would be his worst since his two-game rookie campaign in 2011.

Aaron Judge has been absolutely destroying right-handed pitching this season, ranking first in average exit velocity (minimum 50 batted balls) while racking up a .443 wOBA and .322 ISO. That's right in line with his .440 wOBA and .364 ISO against righties from 2017, and it's no surprise that our models project Judge as the day's top-scoring fantasy hitter by a big margin.
