5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/18/18
On pace for a career-year, Kevin Pillar is way too cheap for a plus matchup against Brett Anderson. What other cost-effective bats should you target on Friday night?

Matt Olson, 1B, Oakland Athletics

Price: $3,000

Another day, another opportunity to get Matt Olson for cheap against a right-handed pitcher.

Olson went yard last night, and when you consider his career .397 wOBA, .331 isolated slugging (ISO), 44.4% hard-hit rate and 46.3% fly-ball rate against right-handed pitching, that was really no surprise.

Today, he's up against Toronto Blue Jays' righty Marco Estrada, and with Estrada allowing a 4.80 xFIP and giving up a 49.5% fly-ball rate to left-handed bats over the past two seasons, it would be no surprise to see Olson go yard again tonight. At this price, he's nearly impossible to ignore.
