Aaron Altherr, OF, Philadelphia Phillies

Price: $2,700

The Philadelphia Phillies are one of three teams with an implied total of at least five runs tonight as they take on righty Andrew Cashner and the Baltimore Orioles.

Cashner is coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him notch a career-worst 5.52 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), and his 4.75 mark this year is on pace to give him a third straight season with one above 4.70.

Aaron Altherr is off to a slow start to 2018, but part of that can be attributed to his low .232 batting average on balls-in-play (BABIP). That's a heavily variance-laden average, and we can generally expect it to revert to something around a player's career-average (.300 for Altherr). Even if it doesn't climb that high, his previous career-low is .288, and if the way he's hitting the ball doesn't change, his production should pick up as we move forward.

Altherr's coming off a 2017 season that saw him notch a .363 wOBA and .236 isolated slugging (ISO) against right-handed pitching, and he has a good shot to get things rolling in today's plus matchup with Cashner.
