5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/11/18
Matt Olson is under-priced relative to the potential production he offers against the Yankees' Sonny Gray tonight. Which other budget-friendly hitters should you target on Friday?

Matt Olson, 1B, Oakland Athletics

Price: $2,600

Matt Olson is up to 287 career plate appearances against right-handed pitching, and he has been terrific in that sample. His batted-ball profile is excellent, with a 42.6% hard-hit, 13.6% soft-hit and 46.5% fly-ball rate, and that has translated to a .390 wOBA and .320 isolated slugging (ISO).

His production so far in 2018 is dragging that production down a bit, but with a massive 50.0% hard-hit rate, a 40.0% fly-ball rate and only a 4.0% soft-hit rate there is a ton of room for optimism.

He draws a solid matchup tonight, taking on Yankees' righty Sonny Gray. Gray has allowed a 38.9% hard-hit and 13.0% soft-hit rate to left-handed bats to start 2018, and his skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) through seven starts sits at an ugly 5.12.
