Joey Votto may have a lefty-lefty matchup against Wade Miley, but we should still keep him in mind with the Cincinnati Reds getting one of the highest implied team totals at home in Great American Ball Park.

As you would expect, Miley has much stronger numbers against lefties, but overall he posted a lackluster 5.07 SIERA, 19.5% strikeout rate, and 12.8% over 32 starts in 2017. There's a good chance the Reds can send him to the showers early in his 2018 debut. Plus, this is Votto we're talking about, so naturally, he laughs at same-side platoon splits. In his career against southpaws, he's owns a .392 wOBA and .204 isolated power (ISO). Yeah, we can work with that.
