5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/2/18
Adam Duvall hasn't had a strong start to the season, but he offers plenty of upside against Brewers lefty Wade Miley. What other budget-friendly hitters should you target on Wednesday?

Adam Duvall, OF, Cincinnati Reds

Price: $2,800

The Cincinnati Reds' 4.76 implied total is tied for the highest mark on the main slate as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers and southpaw Wade Miley.

Miley is making his first Major League start of 2018, and after posting a career-worst 5.07 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in 2017, he makes for a great matchup for opposing offenses.

Adam Duvall has had a poor start to 2018, but with a .191 batting average on balls in play (BABIP), that's not too concerning. He posted a .290 BABIP in 2017 and has a .272 career average, and a mark as low as he's sporting right now is not sustainable, meaning we can expect an increase in production moving forward.

He posted a big .382 wOBA against left-handed pitchers in 159 plate appearances last year, and a matchup with Miley puts him in a particularly good spot for that bounce-back.
