Stephen Strasburg, P, Washington Nationals

Price: $9,700

There are bigger favorites on the all-day slate, but the Washington Nationals' -192 moneyline is the best on tonight's main slate. This matchup boasts a low 8.0 over/under, and combining those factors leaves the Pittsburgh Pirates with the main slate's second-lowest implied total (3.39).

In a tough matchup against Stephen Strasburg, it's no surprise to see oddsmakers so low on the Pirates, who rank 18th in the Majors with a 98 wRC+ against right-handed pitching.

Strasburg has opened the season with a 3.31 skill-interactive ERA, which is right in line with the 3.37 he posted in 2017. His ERA (3.63) is much higher than last year's (2.52), but the similar SIERA indicates that the difference in how he's pitching isn't nearly that pronounced. His 11.1% swinging-strike rate and 26.9% strikeout rate are both still very solid marks despite being steps back from 2017, and he's also forcing a career-high 23.8% soft-hit rate while allowing the second-lowest hard-hit rate of his career (26.7%).
