Masahiro Tanaka, SP, New York Yankees

Between Carlos Carrasco's strong track record, Gerrit Cole's hot start, and Trevor Cahill's low salary, each should garner a good chunk of ownership tonight. That could potentially leave Masahiro Tanaka low-owned. Tanaka may have an ugly 6.45 ERA, but he always possessing a high ceiling.

Tanaka is up to the usual Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde routine, posting back-to-back 12-point FanDuel outings, while also owning a 49-point performance to start the year. And through it all, he still has a solid 3.33 SIERA, 24.5% strikeout rate, and 4.3% walk rate. When he's on his game, good things can happen, and the Minnesota Twins are susceptible to punchouts. Add in that Tanaka has a good shot at a win as a big home favorite against Jake Odorizzi, and it's not inconceivable to see him at the top of the pitching leaderboard when it's all said and done.

You never know what you're going get on a nightly basis from Tanaka, so stay far away in cash games, but he's the quintessential boom-or-bust tournament play on Monday.
