5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/12/18
Brian Goodwin will likely be atop the order for Washington, a team with the main slate's top implied total. Which other budget-friendly bats should you target on Thursday?

Eddie Rosario, OF, Minnesota Twins

Price: $2,500

Chicago White Sox righty Lucas Giolito makes for a great fantasy matchup. Over 15 career MLB games, he has managed an ugly 5.19 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA). His two 2018 starts have been especially rough, with an egregious 6.31 SIERA and a walk rate (13.2%) that exceeds his strikeout rate (9.4%).

Also, he has allowed a career 35.3% hard-hit rate and 38.8% fly-ball rate to left-handed hitters, which could mean big things for Eddie Rosario.

Rosario has had a weak start to the season, but 37 plate appearances isn't enough to cause any real concerns. His batted-ball profile was excellent against right-handed pitching in 2017 as he sported a 34.1% hard-hit rate, 13.8% soft-hit rate and 40.3% fly-ball rate in the split. That translated to a hefty .377 wOBA with a .268 isolated slugging (ISO) versus righties.

A matchup with Giolito is a great spot for Rosario to bounce back from his slow start.
