3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 4/10/18
Didi Gregorius has been on fire to start the season, but he's in a brutal spot versus Chris Sale. Which other players should you stay away from tonight?

Didi Gregorius has carried the struggling New York Yankees on his back to start this season, as he is tied with Bryce Harper for the top spot in fWAR. But even if his improvements to start the season are legitimate, he struggled with southpaws in his breakthrough year in 2017, recording just a 72 wRC+ and measly 14.6% hard-hit rate in the split.

On Tuesday night, Gregorius will have to deal with arguably the toughest matchup a left-handed batter can face: Chris Sale.

Left-handed batters have slugged .272 against Sale in his career. Yes, you read that right, that's a slugging percentage, not a batting average. After all, what else can you expect when you look at the underlying metrics? Left-handed batters against Sale have a 30.8% strikeout-rate, 30.5% fly-ball rate, and 21.6% hard-hit rate. This all translates to a .239 wOBA, which is scarily low.

With temperatures expected to be in the low 40s and wind blowing in from right field, the weather isn't going to make things any easier on Gregorius.
