Stephen Strasburg, P, Washington Nationals

Price: $9,800

There's a big decision to be made with top-priced pitching tonight, which comes down to Stephen Strasburg versus Chris Sale. With a significantly lower price-tag and pretty nice upside, Strasburg gets the edge. You can certainly make an easy argument for Sale in cash games, which you could do every time Sale starts, but Strasburg is really a enticing GPP play due to the price discount and the fact that Stras shouldn't see gobs of ownership given the other top-end arms available.

The Washington Nationals are Tuesday's biggest favorites (-218 moneyline), and the Atlanta Braves' 3.08 implied total is the day's lowest.

The Braves had a hot start to the season from the dish, but as we outlined yesterday before they got shutout, that has come with an unsustainably high batting average on balls in play (BABIP). They have the second-lowest hard-hit rate in the bigs, and unless that climbs, they'll likely struggle moving forward.

Strasburg has had a decent start to the season for fantasy purposes. He managed only 24.0 FanDuel points in his last game, but he also notched a strong 46.9-point outing in his first start of 2018. He's coming off three straight seasons with strikeout rates north of 29.0%, and while that mark is down to start this season, his 13.6% swinging-strike rate is higher than he has ever posted, so we can expect the punchouts to start piling up at a higher rate.
