Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 2
Despite his unimpressive production so far, Javier Baez has been hitting the ball as hard as ever. What other hitters are set up for positive regression in Week 2?

Francisco Lindor, SS, Cleveland Indians

Cleveland Indians infielder Francisco Lindor has been giving the ball some serious sting in the season's opening weeks, but his 39.3% hard contact rate has not thus far translated to strong overall numbers, with his batting average stalling at .194 and his on base plus slugging (OPS) at a mere .497.

Such middling surface ratios should keep his salary around $4,000 in Week 2, making this potentially elite stick a strong lineup building block as he squares off against mortal lefties like Francisco Liriano, Matt Boyd, and Jaime Garcia. Lindor has been a menace to southpaws over the last calendar year, hitting for a .304 batting average and .210 isolated power in the split, so we might soon see him turn his hard hitting into productive results.
