3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 4/3/18
Charlie Blackmon just keeps on rolling, but he should once again avoid heavy ownership on Tuesday. Which other players may go overlooked on this slate?

Mike Trout, OF, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $4,700

Sure, Mike Trout doesn't scream "under the radar," but similar to the Blackmon situation, he may go overlooked with funds being deposited elsewhere. Trout is the most expensive bat on the board, and the Los Angeles Angels have a middle-of-the-road 4.22 implied team total against Josh Tomlin.

Tomlin rarely issues free passes, walking just 2.6% of the batters he's faced the past two seasons, but it comes with a below-average 17.3% strikeout rate. Add in that he's a fly-ball pitcher who has a habit of giving up dingers, and it all looks awfully promising for Trout to deposit one in the seats tonight.

If you're thinking of fading Harper in a tournament lineup, consider Trout as a viable alternative.
