Logan Morrison, 1B, Minnesota Twins

As a member of the Tampa Bay Rays, Logan Morrison enjoyed a career year in 2017, posting career highs in home runs (38), wOBA (.363), and wRC+ (130). His .270 ISO was not only a personal best, but it was 11th best overall. Morrison became a free agent following the season, but interest was slow to develop. It took until February 28th for the Minnesota Twins to sign him to a one-year deal worth $6.5 million.

Luckily, that same lack of interest has carried over into fantasy drafts, as his ADP is currently 283.16. This is essentially a free pick for someone our projections have slugging 32 home runs, something we forecast only 13 other hitters to top this season.

Prior to 2017, Morrison hit more than 20 home runs (23 in 2011) just one time, so it's possible his 2017 season is an outlier. However, Morrison -- behind the likes of Brian Dozier, Joe Mauer, and Miguel Sano -- is expected to hit in the middle of a Twins lineup with the potential to score mad runs. And when you account for Morrison's minimal cost, there's no reason not to roll the dice on his upside come draft day.
