3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/26/17
Slumping badly this month, Eric Sogard could return to form by facing a pitcher making his first start in the big leagues. Who else could make for a solid sleeper play on Tuesday's MLB DFS slate?

Daniel Mengden, SP, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $7,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

It is a loaded DFS slate for pitchers, with Chris Sale, Robbie Ray, Alex Wood, and Gio Gonzalez possibly making their last starts before the playoffs begin. These four, all priced above $9,000, should be heavily owned.

With only 30 innings under his belt this season, Daniel Mengden of the Oakland Athletics could be ignored.

Why You Should Use Him:

Mengden certainly will have his work cut out for him tonight -- he faces a Seattle Mariners offense that ranks seventh in team wOBA over the last two weeks (.331).

But the Mariners have also been striking out at a healthy clip over that same time frame (21.4%), and Mengden has been brilliant recently. In his last two starts, he's fired 16 scoreless innings while recording 11 strikeouts, which has led to him racking up a pair of wins and two quality starts.
