3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 9/22/17
With Justin Verlander pitching lights out these days, this is the rare occasion we should consider fading Mike Trout.

Logan Morrison, 1B, Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Price: $2,600

Dating back to last year, Ubaldo Jimenez has allowed a .393 wOBA against lefties, which is about all you need to know to consider using Tampa Bay Rays tonight, who are collectively cheap. That makes Logan Morrison a fine value play at his price. Morrison has produced a stellar 40.4% hard-hit rate and .365 wOBA against righties this year.

However, he's listed here just as fair warning not to use him in cash games. Morrison is mired in a horrendous slump, with just one hit over his last 36 plate appearances, and a troubling 44.4% strikeout rate. He also hasn't performed that well the entire second half, producing just a 27.7% hard-hit rate and .319 wOBA.

Given the matchup and his overall marks on the year, there's definitely potential for a big night for Morrison. But the recent trends are concerning, so stick to just tournaments.
