3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/13/17
Young outfielder Travis Taijeron of the Mets faces Jon Lester and has a chance for a big night. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Doug Fister, SP, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $8,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are a bunch of quality arms on tonight's main slate, but two set to see high ownership levels are Max Scherzer and Chris Archer, the most expensive options on the day. Scherzer could be especially high owned, as the Washington Nationals are -324 moneyline favorites on the evening.

At a far lower price point -- and struggling a bit to start his Boston Red Sox season -- Doug Fister should see significantly less ownership.

Why You Should Use Him:

While Fister is $2,600 less than Scherzer, he may be just as effective, as he has been absolutely dealing.

Over Fister's last four turns, he has been brilliant. In 30 innings pitched, the righty sports a 1.50 ERA, 24.1% strikeout rate, and a 61.3% ground-ball rate, recording four quality starts and 3 wins.

Facing an Oakland Athletics team that strikes out 24.6% of the time against right-handed pitching, Fister could be in line for a big evening.
