Daily Fantasy Baseball: Batted-Ball Positive Regression Candidates for Week 22
Eric Hosmer has been one of the best hitters in baseball, according to advanced data. Who else is due for some positive regression?

Yuli Gurriel, 1B, Houston Astros

Houston Astros rookie Yulieski Gurriel has had a solid season playing every day at first base, and lately he's been squaring up the ball against lefties, but hasn't seen the expected results. Over the last 14 days, Gurriel ranks second behind only Giancarlo Stanton in average exit velocity against lefties with a phenomenal 97.8 MPH. His results differ from Stanton in that Gurriel has no homers versus lefties in that span, but positive regression could be coming soon.

We can roster Gurriel against righties as well, but he will see two hittable lefties in Martin Perez and Cole Hamels this week, and will be a bargain at around $3,000 on FanDuel.
