4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 8/15/17
Firmly entrenched in a starting role, Mikie Mahtook could be in for a big night. Who else stands out as a sleeper play?

Dinelson Lamet, SP, San Diego Padres

FanDuel Price: $8,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The awesome thing about a nearly full slate is a bevy of great pitching options are usually available, and Tuesday fits that bill. Jacob deGrom. Madison Bumgarner. Justin Verlander, Danny Salazar and Alex Wood all man the bump today and are priced up at $9,000 or more. They are likely to be the heaviest-owned options.

Despite a 29.1% strikeout rate, Dinelson Lamet and his 5.00 ERA could go overlooked on this jam-packed day.

Why You Should Use Him:

Lamet has been a strikeout beast, and facing an inept Philadelphia Phillies offense, he will look to continue that goodness tonight.

For the season, Lamet has logged an impressive 12.9% swinging-strike rate. While that ERA ain't great, his 3.77 SIERA shows he's probably been a little more effective than the standard metric.

Couple that with a date at home and a Phillies offense that ranks 26th in team wOBA (.301) with a 22.5% strikeout rate, and Lamet makes for a tasty pitching option.
