The Chicago White Sox haven't been as bad against left-handed pitching as they have against righties this season, but they do have a top-12 strikeout rate against lefties, and in tonight's matchup with Alex Wood, their 2.99 implied total is the lowest mark on the slate by a big margin.

Wood boasts a strong 3.31 SIERA on the season, and his 26.4% strikeout rate and 12.5% swinging-strike rate are both very promising marks from a fantasy standpoint, giving him plenty of upside.

He also might be the safest pitching option you're going to find tonight -- although there are other guys with big-time upside -- with that low implied total and the Los Angeles Dodgers sitting as massive -375 favorites.
