4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 8/11/17
Just off the disabled list with a huge opportunity against Marco Gonzales, Cameron Maybin looks primed to explode. Who else could make for a strong sleeper play?

Taijuan Walker, SP, Arizona Diamondbacks

FanDuel Price: $7,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There's a surprising lack of high-end options today at the pitching spot, which means ownership is likely to be pretty bunched up. Rich Hill, Carlos Carrasco, and Jimmy Nelson are the most expensive arms, and likely to be heavily owned.

Taijuan Walker, who returns to hitter-friendly Chase Field, is likely to be a low-owned option.

Why You Should Use Him:

Walker's last time out showed off only a 6.5% swinging-strike rate, but that's why the opponent needs to be reviewed in context. He faced the San Francisco Giants, who are one of the league's toughest to whiff at 19.6% (26th).

Tonight, Walker gets the less threatening Chicago Cubs, who appear to be stuck in a post-World Series hangover. This year, they've struck out 13th-most at 22.0%.

Taking on the Cubs in Chase Field will be no small test, but Walker could make for a nice mid-range upside play on the slate.
