Tanner Roark, SP, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $7,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

It's quite the juicy slate tonight from a pitching perspective, as three high-profile aces take the hill. Yu Darvish absolutely dazzled last time out, Jacob deGrom has been brilliant in 2017, and Danny Salazar has been a strikeout machine since returning from injury. All three are likely to be highly owned.

Tanner Roark of the Washington Nationals has taken an expected step back in 2017, and he isn't likely to be as highly owned.

Why You Should Use Him:

Reviewing Roark's 2016 season, his SIERA (4.32) far surpassed his 2.83 ERA, which indicated Roark was likely due for regression in 2017. And regress he has -- his ERA has risen to 4.82 this season, primarily due to a career-worst walk rate of 8.7%.

Lately, however, Roark may have turned a corner. In each of his last five starts, he's recorded a swinging-strike rate north of 10.0%, including a high-water mark of 16.5% against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Miami Marlins, meanwhile, have really struggled recently. In the last two weeks, they rank 21st in team wOBA (.305) while striking out 20.8% of the time.

All of this adds up to a potentially high-scoring evening for Roark.
