3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 8/7/17
Howie Kendrick crushes southpaws and will get to take aim at one tonight. Who else makes for a solid sleeper play for Monday's MLB DFS contests?

Howie Kendrick, OF, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $2,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Sporting a robust 4.94 implied team total and continuing his run of hot play, Andrew McCutchen is sure to be a chalky outfield option. In his last 218 plate appearances, Cutch has ripped off a .367 average, walked more (15.1%) than he's struck out (13.3%), and made hard contact 38.6% of the time.

With only a .240 batting average in the month of July, Howie Kendrick could go overlooked, but that could be a big mistake.

Why You Should Use Him:

The Washington Nationals face Miami Marlins rookie hurler Chris O'Grady, who's struggled this season. In five starts (25.0 innings pitched), O'Grady's recorded a 5.13 SIERA. Part of that inflated SIERA is due to some troubles with right-handed bats, who've rocked him for a .425 wOBA, including identical 42.0% hard-hit and fly-ball rates.

Kendrick, meanwhile, loves 'dem southpaws to the tune of a .958 OPS and a .191 OPS, and will only you set you back $2,600.
