Big slates like this are fun, especially when they give us an unbelievable number of sweet pitching options to choose from. Justin Verlander, Kevin Gausman, Jacob deGrom, Yu Darvish, Madison Bumgarner and James Paxton all will take the pill tonight.
Working in a bit of a swing role this season for the lowly Cincinnati Reds, Asher Wojciechowski is surely to be ignored.
Why You Should Use Him:
Over 34.0 innings pitched, one thing the Reds young hurler has shown is a healthy ability to strike out hitters. He's logged an impressive 25.2% strikeout rate and an 11.0% swinging-strike rate.
Even better, he will get to face a St. Louis Cardinals team that has a propensity to swing and miss a ton. Over the last two weeks, the Cards have struck out the third-most in baseball at a rate of 26.4%.
The Great American Ball Park can be homer happy (it checks in fourth in home run factor the last three years), but Wojciehowski could still be in line for a big night.
