Corey Kluber has been absolutely nasty this season, ranking second among qualifying pitchers with a 2.63 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and 35.8% strikeout rate as well as first with a 16.2% swinging-strike rate.

There's some risk in playing Kluber in fantasy tonight, as the New York Yankees are tied for second in wRC+ against right-handed pitching (113). But the Yanks also strike out at an above-average rate against righties (22.0%), leaving plenty of room for upside and fantasy value. Plus, the potential for a huge strikeout total also gives his floor a bump even if Kluber does give up some runs.

numberFire's models also project Kluber as Thursday's top-scoring fantasy pitcher.
