He's sporting a 3.26 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in 2017, and his 23.9% strikeout rate and 10.6% swinging strike rate are both on pace to be career-highs.
He brings those marks into a solid matchup, and the Houston Astros are the main slate's biggest favorites (-200 moneyline) as they take on a Tampa Bay Rays team that has a shaky 92 wRC+, while their 25.9% strikeout rate against left-handed pitching is the second-highest mark in the majors.
