$8,900 may be a little bit of a stretch for "stud", but top-end pitching options aren't especially strong tonight, and Carlos Martinez stacks up as the top arm on Wednesday's main slate.

His 3.91 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in 2017 isn't anything special, but he's sporting a career-high 25.6% strikeout rate to go with a 10.6% swinging strike rate.

He brings that into an outstanding matchup, taking on a Colorado Rockies team that is tied for last in the majors with a 79 wRC+ while also striking out at a top-10 rate (22.6%) against right-handed pitching.
