4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 7/21/17
On fire since June 1 but still not priced that way, Odubel Herrera could be primed for a big night. Who else could make for a strong sleeper play?

Steven Matz, SP, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $7,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Wow, what a loaded slate for pitching. Max Scherzer, Chris Sale, Alex Wood, and Yu Darvish all take the bump and are sure to be highly owned.

Coming off a two consecutive tough outings where he posted a combined -11.9 FanDuel points, Steven Matz is surely to be a low-owned starter on today's main slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

Despite those absolutely brutal back-to-back outings, there's a few reasons to think Matz could bounce back in a big way, and a lot of it has to do with his opponent, the Oakland Athletics.

The As are dreadful against left-handed pitching. On the season, they've posted only a .285 wOBA, and have whiffed the second-most in the league at a 26.3% clip.

And while Matz was bad in those last two outings, he had posted 37 or more FanDuel points in three consecutive outings prior to those two stinkbombs.

At a mid-range price, Matz could be a really juicy option that should be largely ignored.
