Madison Bumgarner seems to be full-go after returning from his shoulder injury, going seven innings in his first start back.

We don't have a big sample to draw from this season (five games), but he has posted strikeout rates better than 25.0% and skill-interactive ERAs (SIERAs) better than 3.40 in each of his last three seasons.

He brings that elite production into an outstanding matchup tonight. He'll face off with a San Diego Padres team that has been brutal against left-handed pitching in 2017, striking out at a top-10 rate (25.7%) while ranking next-to-last in wRC+ (72).
