Zack Godley has been a solid addition to the Arizona Diamondbacks rotation this season, putting together a 3.76 SIERA and 23.9% strikeout rate through 10 starts.

However, he faces off against the Los Angeles Dodgers, whose active roster holds a 113 wRC+ and 34.9% hard-hit rate against righties. The Dodgers can put as many as five lefties in the lineup, and against southpaws Godley has more limited upside, with a 21.6% punchout rate and 9.8% walk rate.

On a slate where you can pivot to Trevor Bauer against the San Diego Padres, or go boom-or-bust with the cheap Jon Gray, Godley doesn't have enough appeal to put him in tournament consideration.
