3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/29/17

Although he's only made six starts, David Price hasn't shown enough this year to justify taking the plunge tonight in MLB DFS. Which other players should you fade?

Like most days Clayton Kershaw ($12,500) takes the mound, he's the top pitching play of the day. And judging by the Los Angeles Angels' implied team total (3.11), it's not even all that close. His numbers remain slightly down from last year, but you'll never scoff at a 3.09 SIERA and 29.2% strikeout rate.

However, if you want to pivot in tournaments, your options open up greatly. Chris Archer ($10,400) always has GPP-winning upside, Jimmy Nelson ($8,700) is sporting a 27.7% strikeout rate since the start of May, and J.A. Happ ($8,400) is in a potentially fruitful spot against the Baltimore Orioles, whose active roster strikes out at a 25.0% clip against southpaws.

If you want to go even cheaper, Dinelson Lamet ($8,100) is risky, but brings a 32.3% strikeout rate to the table versus the Atlanta Braves.

Let's narrow down your choices on tonight's eight-game FanDuel main slate, and identify three guys to avoid.
