5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/29/17
Eric Thames, with a .389 wOBA against righties this season, offers big upside against the Reds' Homer Bailey. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Thursday?

Logan Forsythe, 2B, Los Angeles Dodgers

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Logan Forsythe has been making solid contact lately -- among 300-plus hitters with at least 10 batted balls over the past 15 days, he ranks 59th in average exit velocity and 36th in average batted-ball distance.

His production has been underwhelming, but with a .289 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) compared to a .315 mark in 2016 and a .300 career average, the dip in production shouldn't be too concerning with the kind of contact he's making.

He also draws a decent matchup tonight, taking on Los Angeles Angels righty J.C. Ramirez, who has opened 2017 with a shaky 4.18 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA).
