By now you're probably well aware of Ervin Santana defying the regression gods for most of the season. With a date against the lowly Chicago White Sox, and few pitching alternatives to Chris Sale, you might be tempted to go down this road. Santana still has a squeaky clean 2.56 ERA and two 50-plus point FanDuel scores in his last five starts, both complete games.

Not to go all Star Wars on you, but "it's a trap!"

Although Santana continues to inexplicably throw the occasional gem, his 4.90 SIERA and league-low .171 BABIP scream regression at the tops of their lungs. Neither his strikeout rate (18.4%) nor walk rate (9.2%) hit league average marks either.

Despite a slate with few alternatives at pitcher, this is one road you should make a u-turn on.
