4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/14/17
Despite posting a gaudy strikeout rate, Ian Happ makes for a great play tonight. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Francisco Liriano, SP, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $7,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are quite a few mid-priced options on the slate, but Corey Kluber and Ervin Santana are more than likely to see the majority of ownership.

Already bombed once this season by the Tampa Bay Rays and sporting a 5.06 SIERA, Francisco Liriano probably won't find himself in too many lineups.

Why You Should Use Him:

Liriano has been solid in his two starts since returning from the disabled list, most notably in his last outing, in which he posted a healthy 13.6% swinging-strike rate.

While the Rays sport a strong offense, they whiff a whole lot, striking out 26.0% of the time. Against left-handed pitching, it's an even worse 26.6. Liriano's strikeout rate of 22.0% isn't too far off from last season's mark of 23.0%, further amping up his fantasy potential.

There's some peril here, but Liriano's post-injury improvement combined with the Rays high strikeout could generate some nice numbers.
