4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/9/17
Rich Hill isn't showing the same upside he had last season, making him a pass in DFS tonight. Who else should you consider avoiding?

Rich Hill, SP, Los Angeles Dodgers

FanDuel Price: $7,900

Apologies are in order on the rare chance Rich Hill's family reads these pieces because he's become a regular fixture. But after whiffing on fade calls for Yu Darvish and Michael Pineda two straight days, it's time we go back to old reliable. Or should I say unreliable?

Hill was masterful at times last season, but he's yet to find his groove in 2017. Despite a limited pitching slate, and the opposing Cincinnati Reds getting a low 3.66 implied team total, Hill has shown painfully little upside, with his best FanDuel start amounting to just 33 points. He has yet to go beyond five innings, and has fallen short of it in three out of six starts.

Worse yet, his SIERA is an eyesore (5.27), as is his walk rate (15.9%). Maybe he's still dealing with his constant blister issues, or some other ailment, but whatever the case, he hasn't been the same pitcher as last year, and he's hands-off in DFS until further notice.
