Chris Archer has been all kinds of nasty for the Tampa Bay Rays this season. His 3.42 skill-interactive ERA is on pace to be his second-highest mark in a full season, while his 29.0% strikeout rate is tied with his highest. He's registering career-high velocity on both his fastball and his slider, which has helped him to a career-best 12.9% swinging strike rate.

He brings those impressive numbers into an excellent matchup tonight, taking on a Chicago White Sox team that boasts the day's lowest implied total (3.37).

The White Sox have not only struggled to make good contact against right-handed pitching, ranking dead-last in hard-hit rate, but they've also had issues making contact with the ball at all, with a 23.2% strikeout rate that's tied for the sixth-highest in the majors.
