5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/25/17
Tyler Collins has a strong 42.0% hard-hit rate on the season and draws a solid matchup today against Mike Fiers and the Astros. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value on Thursday?

Tyler Collins, OF, Detroit Tigers

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Tyler Collins hasn't been especially productive so far in 2017, but his batted-ball profile is really encouraging, which includes a 42.0% hard-hit rate, 14.8% soft-hit rate and 43.8% fly-ball rate. We can expect his performance to pick up if he keeps making contact like that.

The lack of production has also served to keep his salary nice and low, which gives him a ton of upside relative to his price tag, like it is in a plus matchup like against righty Mike Fiers and the Houston Astros.

Fiers has a 4.45 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in 2017 after posting what was already a shaky 4.26 in 2016, and our projections have Collins as the top point-per-dollar value of the day.
