4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 5/24/17

Rich Hill still isn't pitching deep enough into games to consider on FanDuel. Who else should you fade in MLB DFS?

Tonight, on the FanDuel main slate, we bow down to the greatness that is Chris Sale ($11,800), who has arguably reached auto-use-Clayton-Kershaw status, as he leads all qualified starters in SIERA (2.16), strikeout rate (38.6%), and swinging-strike rate (16.4%). Heck, with those numbers, maybe he is this year's Kershaw. Regardless, against the Texas Rangers at home, he's a no-brainer in cash and will be hard to pass up in tournaments as well.

If you do choose to look elsewhere, Luis Severino ($9,500) is the next obvious choice against the light-hitting Kansas City Royals, who have a paltry 81 wRC+ against righties. Beyond those two there's a fairly steep drop-off to guys like Rich Hill ($8,700) and Charlie Morton ($8,300).

The hitting side is much more bountiful, with nearly half the arms on the mound worth picking on. The Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, Washington Nationals and New York Yankees should be among those at the top of your wish list.

Now, time for the task at hand. Here are four guys to cross off your lists tonight.
