Regardless of who you choose at pitcher today, you're going to have some extra cash to spend on hitters. It's still difficult recommending Jean Segura, though.

Segura's salary has been slowly creeping up the past couple weeks, and tonight he's tied with Paul Goldschmidt as the fourth-most expensive hitter on the slate.

Opposing pitcher Sean Manaea has a 38.3% hard-hit rate against righties so far, but a 27.7% strikeout rate is less than ideal. The Seattle Mariners also have a middle-of-the-road 4.11 implied team total.

Segura may have some speed, but in a mediocre matchup, it's awfully tough to justify paying top-dollar for a guy with three dingers, a .147 isolated power (ISO), and 29.2% hard-hit rate.
