Zack Greinke, P, Arizona Diamondbacks

Pitching is pretty ugly today -- none of the top-priced arms are in strikeout-friendly matchups, and the slate just doesn't really have any big favorites. I'm probably going to look to go cheap, freeing up cap space for some high-priced hitters, but Zack Greinke is a viable option if you're looking to pay up at pitcher.

He has bounced back nicely from a shaky 2016 campaign, opening 2017 with a 3.14 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), 26.3% strikeout rate and a career-best 13.1% swinging strike rate while cutting his walk rate to 4.5%.

There's some room for concern in this matchup -- he's at home at the hitter-friendly Chase Field and taking on a Pittsburgh Pirates team that boasts a bottom-five strikeout rate against righties -- but Greinke's numbers this year are very promising. While the Pirates haven't struck out much, they do rank 24th with an 82 wRC+ against righties.
