Luis Severino, SP, New York Yankees

FanDuel Price: $8,500

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

It almost becomes a new challenge fitting Clayton Kershaw into DFS lineups these days -- he's almost always money in the bank, but his price continues to rise with each outing (he's $12,600 today). Along with him, Monday's slate also includes hurlers like Johnny Cueto, Gerrit Cole, Lance McCullers and Rick Porcello.

However, is Luis Severino finally flashing that huge promise we've been waiting for? He could be -- but don't forget what he's given fantasy owners in the past, either. The right-hander threw 71 innings last year in 21 total appearances (11 starts) and posted a mediocre 4.06 SIERA with just a 21.2% strikeout rate.

Why You Should Use Him:

All previous doubts aside, Severino has been fantastic to start the 2017 season for the New York Yankees. Over 27 innings pitched (four starts), Severino has posted a paltry 2.29 SIERA while jumping that strikeout rate up to 32.7%.

A deeper look at the young righty's profile reveals his control has been on point (4.0% walk rate), and hitters hitters have produced a 11.8% swinging-strike rate against him. And when they do make contact it hasn't been all that hard (23.4% hard-hit rate).

Enter the Toronto Blue Jays, who have been bad at the dish. They check in at 28th in wOBA (.283) and are striking out 22.7% of the time against right-handed pitching.

With a bevy of great options at the top of the tier, Severino makes for a great pivot.
