The Chicago Cubs are the biggest favorites of the day (-185 moneyline) by a pretty significant margin, leaving the Milwaukee Brewers with the second-lowest implied total (3.21) of the day. This gives Lackey a really strong floor.

The Brewers have also been a team to target for upside this season, opening with the second-highest strikeout rate (27.6%) in the majors. Combining that with Lackey coming off a strong 24.1% strikeout rate in 2016 (and his 33.3% strikeout rate through two starts), he also has a big-time ceiling in this matchup.

Unsurprisingly, that combination has Lackey as our top-projected fantasy pitcher on the slate.
