Madison Bumgarner is the top pitcher on today's slate by a pretty big margin.

The ace has a 26.2% strikeout rate through two starts this year, which is right in line with what he's done over the last two years (27.5% in '16 and 26.9% in '15) and has kept his skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) below 3.40 in each of the last four seasons. The southpaw draws a great matchup tonight against a Colorado Rockies team that ranks 23rd in wRC+ and is just outside the top 10 in strikeout rate to start the 2017 season.

The San Francisco Giants are the second-biggest favorites of the day with a solid -162 moneyline, and the Rockies easily have the lowest implied total on the slate at 2.89 thanks to playing at the pitcher-friendly AT&T Park.
