5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/11/17
Curtis Granderson put up good numbers against righties last season, and he has a juicy matchup tonight against Clay Buchholz. Which other low-cost players are in a nice spot?

Welington Castillo, C, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Welington Castillo's extreme platoon splits leave him as a strong value whenever he draws a matchup against a southpaw.

He has some struggles against right-handed pitching, but he owns a huge 39.8% hard-hit rate against southpaws over his career. He crushed lefties last season to the tune of a .278/.346/.522 slash, .367 wOBA and .243 isolated slugging (ISO) on an absurd 53.5% hard-hit rate.

The Boston Red Sox will trot out lefty Drew Pomeranz for Tuesday's start. While he has shown some impressive stuff over the past couple seasons, including a 26.5% strikeout rate in 2016, he did allow a 31.6% hard-hit rate to right-handed hitters, and the Baltimore Orioles have a solid 4.64 implied total in this one.
