Coming off a 2016 campaign that saw him post a huge 30.1% strikeout rate, Lance McCullers jumps out right away as someone to target in daily fantasy.

That big strikeout potential gives him elite upside, and the Houston Astros are also the second-biggest favorites on the slate (-158 moneyline), which also gives his value a nice boost.

The Seattle Mariners didn't strike out a ton last season, but McCullers' ability in that area makes up for the matchup there. He has some of the best upside among pitchers on the slate, and his situation provides a decent floor.
