The Toronto Blue Jays had an active offseason, but it didn't include bringing Edwin Encarnacion back to the club -- he signed with the Cleveland Indians after spending nearly eight full seasons north of the border.
Toronto did re-sign Jose Bautista and brought in Kendrys Morales and Steve Pearce to pick up the slack, but the rest of the offense will need to chip in, including Troy Tulowitzki.
In 99 April plate appearances last year, the shortstop didn't help much by slashing .169/.293/.325 and producing a wRC+ of 67. His slump wasn't just focused in the season's first month, either -- it also carried into May.
He did turn things around, which is evidenced below.
